Activities in the snow, indoor pool and playroom in the house – families have it really good at the Glocknerhof also in winter. Friendly and top trained ski instructors are available in the village and on the Emberger Alm as well as on the Weissensee. Ski courses are available for children from the age of four. For the older ones, snowboard courses are also a possibility, ski equipment and snowboards can be rented everywhere – at top conditions. And during the holiday season, beginners’ courses even take place on the small slope right in the village center – ideal!

Our house is situated in an idyllic hillside location in the middle of nature in Carinthia. Let your children run and play in the snow or go exploring together. All rooms are with balcony and wonderful view of the dreamy mountains of Carinthia.
Walking trails directly from the hotel
lead you to the village or to the Liebesbank (love bank), good cuisine, cozy parlors and free wifi throughout the hotel invite you to stay. In the evening, the cozy open fireplace invites you to tea and mulled wine.

Children’s playroom in the house, numerous stuffed animals, board games and books for young and old, bowling alleys and table soccer are available.

Tobogganing and sledding: Free toboggan rental, cross-country skiing in the valley, on the lake and on the alp – free rental of classic cross-country skiing equipment, snowshoeing and ski touring on the Emberger Alm, ice skating on the endless natural ice of the Weissensee.
Trip to the Ebnerbichl Animal Farm
Weekly we visit the animals at Ebnerbichl (weather permitting). Small and large animals such as horses, ponies, goats, kangaroos, pigs, geese, etc. can be petted and fed. All children who wish can ride the ponies at the riding arena at the lounge.

Glocknerhofs Liebesbank (love bank) within ten minutes walking distance, water adventure trail Greifenburg, Mühlgraben waterfall.
Emberger Alm: hiking, skiing and tobogganing
Weissensee: ice skating, skiing, cross-country skiing, ice hockey and walking
