Weekly the Glocknerhof offers a free Senso hike through the village. During the summer months there is a weekly fossil hunt in the Ochsenschlucht (gorge) – an adventure for the whole family!

Sensopark – Discover your senses!
In order to properly understand nature and the environment again, the “Sensopark” was created in Berg im Drautal. On five Senso hikes, people should learn to recognize nature with all their senses. Running, Jogging & Nordic Walking
For those who like to take a more athletic approach, there are flat as well as hilly running routes for the most diverse types of running, jogging or Nordic walking directly from the hotel – optionally on gravel, forest floor, meadow or asphalt. Every type of runner will find the perfect surface here. For Nordic Walking a trainer including walking sticks can be booked. Running competitions are held regularly in the Drau Valley, such as the annual Emberger Alm mountain run.

Water adventure trail Greifenburg

The water trail along the Gnoppnitzbach is a varied adventure hiking trail for families. The walk is divided into many lovingly designed stations. The roaring waters of the torrent make for great soundscapes. The water adventure trail is always worth a trip – even with a stroller!

Tip: Refreshment options in the village
The Buschenschenke Hupfa with Nadja and Florian Niedermüller invites you to stop for a bite to eat in the middle of the vineyard at 1,000 meters above sea level. With a snack and a glass of wine, you can enjoy the view of the valley even better. All products come from our own farm or neighboring Slow Food producers. Recommendation: weekly guided tours of the vineyard, also suitable for groups.
