Tennis holidays in Carinthia

During a tennis holidays against the magnificent backdrop of the surrounding mountains, Carinthia shows its most beautiful side. Spend great training days at the Glocknerhof or make a few serves in between. You will enjoy it.

Three artificial turf fields are available to our guests free of charge. The tennis courts are idyllically situated on a hill at the edge of the forest and can be used at any time without reservation. If you are interested, you can also book a trainer.

Use of the tennis courts

The use of the tennis courts is included in the room price. For day guests who do not stay at the Glocknerhof, one hour costs € 8,–. At the reception you will receive tokens that will stretch the net.

Tennis equipment

Simple tennis rackets and tennis balls are available at the reception free of charge as for rent. Experienced hobby players are best to bring their own equipment from home.

Book tennis coach

You want to start playing tennis, your technique needs a fine-tuning or you simply need a good training partner? Then ask us for a tennis coach. One training lesson with the tennis instructor costs € 30,–. Basic courses for individuals or groups are also offered. Please indicate the desired number of hours and other wishes already at the time of reservation.

Tennis book for kids

The book offers fun and games for tennis-loving children from five to ten years old. Here you can download the children’s tennis book from the German Tennis Federation.

Play table tennis on holidays

A game that requires speed and skill. The table tennis tables are shaded on the north side of the adjoining building. You can get rackets and balls free of charge at the reception. You are also welcome to bring your own table tennis equipment from home. Arrange to meet friends for a singles match or doubles. Or how about a round robin tournament with the whole family?

The head of the house is himself an active table tennis player in the local table tennis club and can give you a tip or two. If you are an active player yourself, he may take you to a practice night.

Other activities at the Glocknerhof

Golf courses for beginners and advanced players, rafting, archery and mountain biking provide alternative sports programs. Mental balance brings the exclusive bathing and sauna area of the house.
