Regional spirits – Kuenz natural distillery in East Tyrol

The natural distillery Kuenz in Döslach – just outside Lienz – distills spirits of the highest quality. In recent years, the now more than 40 fruit brandies and liqueurs have been expanded to include gin and single malt whisky. The Kuenz brothers regularly win national and international awards with their products. The hotel bar of the Glocknerhof carries some of the Kuenz specialties.

Weekly tastings

During the factory tour of the natural distillery Kuenz in Dölsach, the noble distillates from the 400-year-old Kuenzhof are presented and tasted. Even today, the company lives and works according to the credo “Preserve the good and discover the new”. The juicy fruit from the farm’s own gardens provides the fruity taste of the brandies and liqueurs. The brothers Florian and Johannes Kuenz run the business in the 12th generation. In addition to schnapps and liqueurs, the range also includes new generation products such as the exclusive premium gin “Roter Turm” and the “Rauchkofel” single malt whisky. Both are internationally highly acclaimed and will also inspire you.
