Why is there a store?

As every model airplane pilot knows, it can happen from time to time that an airplane lands ungently and the damage cannot be repaired in a hurry. Then it’s quite handy to have a few “holidays airplanes” in stock.

The model airplanes are also interesting for flight students who want to continue practicing what they have learned outside of flight training.

So if you decide to buy a new model airplane during flight training or on holidays, or if you want to try something new, you will find everything you need here. Just ask for Adolf, Daniel or Marco, they will be happy to advise you.

Repairs

Marco also offers model building services and repairs. Depending on the effort, minor repairs can still be carried out during the holidays.

Order spare parts

If we do not have something in stock, we recommend our reliable partners for spare parts and modeling accessories: Modellsport D-M-T, Modellbau Lindinger and Modellsport Schweighofer. All of them offer a wide range of products and if you order before 12 noon on weekdays, you will receive products in stock the very next day. Thus, the holidays are saved.

Toys for kids

The throwing gliders are especially popular with our younger guests. The gliders can fly straight and looping and are the ideal toy to entice children outdoors. The fliers are very stable and break down with difficulty. There are many different colors that can be selected on site.

Sets for beginners

These inexpensive starter sets contain everything you need to fly. Put the plane together, charge the batteries and go! For the first flight, an experienced pilot should definitely help you. Our flight instructor Marco will be happy to support you.

Gliders & Electric Models

For these models you should have already gained experience and be able to fly independently. The flight models are largely built and need partly only battery and / or receiver. Transmitter is not included. Our flight instructor Marco can help you with your first flight and offer you flying lessons with your new model.

Indoor models

Experience is necessary for these flight models. These indoor models are kits with a construction time of about 5 to 10 hours. We have the recommended accessories (drive, servos, batteries, glue and activator) in stock.

Recommendation: Build an indoor model during your holidays- the ideal pastime with fellow aviators in the evening.

Remote controls, accessories and books

To get into the hobby of model flying properly, a decent transmitter is indispensable. Then you can steer all model aircraft with a remote control. The ACL flashing lights are required in Austria for flights above 300 m above ground. How about some suitable holidays?

Trainings and services

Training with RC aircrafts

Gliding and motorized flying can also be learned at the Glocknerhof: Courses and individual lessons for beginners and advanced pilots are available with RC aircrafts of all sizes. Training sessions are held weekly from Monday to Friday throughout the year.
