Award: Hiking village Berg im Drautal
The “Sensopark” was created in Berg im Drautal to help people understand nature and the environment again. On five Senso hikes, people should learn to recognize nature with all their senses. For this purpose, the paths were supplemented with meditative exercises for body and soul. The Sensopark is the counterpart to the Outdoor Park with all its active sports.

For those who like to take a more athletic approach, there are flat as well as hilly running routes for the most diverse types of running, jogging or Nordic walking directly from the hotel – optionally on gravel, forest floor, meadow or asphalt. Every type of runner will find the perfect surface here. For Nordic Walking a trainer including walking sticks can be booked. Running competitions are held regularly in the Drau Valley, such as the annual Emberger Alm mountain run.
Water adventure trail Greifenburg
The Buschenschenke Hupfa with Nadja and Florian Niedermüller invites you to stop for a bite to eat in the middle of the vineyard at 1,000 meters above sea level. With a snack and a glass of wine, you can enjoy the view of the valley even better. All products come from our own farm or neighboring Slow Food producers. Recommendation: weekly guided tours of the vineyard, also suitable for groups.
