Autumn fishing week
Whether spin fishing or fly fishing: The Drau in Carinthia between Lienz and Spittal is one of the few remaining stretches of river without barrages and without hydroelectric power plants. That is why the Drava River is a special tip for sport fishermen and anglers.
If you want to go for grayling and trout, we offer our guests exclusive access to the Drava River on a 2.5 km stretch between Berg and Greifenburg (5 km of banks). You are welcome to refrigerate or freeze your catch at the hotel until departure. On request we prepare your catch in the Glocknerhof kitchen. Attention: The native huchen, the largest river predator in Central Europe, is only fishable in winter (until 31 January)!

Book your next fishing holidays at the Glocknerhof in Carinthia. Bring friends and fishing equipment and explore the Drau River. It is best to book the fishing license at the same time. If fishing is not possible (snow melt in spring, high water in summer), the fishing license will not be charged.
