The Glocknerhof is one of the well-known Drauradweg hosts. It is ideally situated between the stages in the Upper Drau Valley: Lienz – Berg im Drautal and Berg im Drautal – Spittal an der Drau. Day 1: On the first day you check in at the Hotel Glocknerhof.

Day 2: At the beginning of the second day you take the train to Lienz or optionally to Sillian. On ÖBB trains you can comfortably take your bike with you for a small fee. After a stroll through the town, follow the Drau cycle path back to the Glocknerhof in Berg im Drautal. On the way you can take a break in Oberdrauburg, visit the herb village of Irschen and explore the Gaislochklamm gorge. The afternoon remains for swimming or other activities at the hotel. In the evening you can indulge in culinary delights in the restaurant.

Day 3: Immediately after breakfast you will start cycling along the Drau cycle path in the direction of Spittal an der Drau. If your condition allows it, follow the trail further to Seeboden on Lake Millstätter See. Then take the train back to the Hotel Glocknerhof. How about a sauna session and a fine cocktail on the terrace today? Or do you join the weekly program?

Departure day: Departure after breakfast.

Or are you staying a few more days? Then today you could go on a short hike starting from the Emberger Alm or ride your bike to the Weissensee. Around the lake there are numerous mountain bike trails, single trails, a mountain railroad and a boat ride.
