Ice skating on the natural ice of Lake Weissensee is something truly special. During the “Alternative Elfstedentocht” in late January/early February, the ice is meticulously prepared to offer both professional and recreational skaters optimal conditions for skating. This event features speed skating competitions over distances of 50, 100, and 200 km.
