Ice skating on the natural ice of the Weissensee is something very special. During the “Alternative Elfstedentocht” at the end of January / beginning of February, the ice is elaborately prepared to offer professionals and hobby skaters optimal conditions for skating. This event will feature competitions in speed skating over distances of 50, 100 and 200 km.
