On holidays at the Glocknerhof there are several great climbing opportunities: The climbing parks in Greifenburg and Lienz, the Pirknerklamm gorge near \u00d6tting, the via ferrata behind the church in Oberdrauburg and the climbing hall in M\u00fchldorf. Rental equipment and trainers are available.<\/p>\n

The via ferrata Pirknerklamm near \u00d6tting is one of the most spectacular in Carinthia \u2013 directly at the roaring torrent, past waterfalls offer numerous photo spots. The Pirknerklamm is also suitable for families with children. Climbing is up the gorge. A hiking trail leads back to the starting point. An ideal excursion for families. Duration: about 2 to 3 hours. If you are climbing for the first time, an experienced person should be with you. Drausport offers weekly guided tours.<\/p>\n
The equipment for climbing (helmet and harness) is available at the bathing lake in Greifenburg and at the bakery Egger in Oberdrauburg. Sturdy shoes are recommended.<\/p>\n
