L<\/span>ake Weissensee becomes the largest natural ice surface in Austria in winter. The ice surface, up to 40 cm thick, has given the lake a reputation that is unique in Europe. From mid-December, the lake attracts guests and locals for ice skating, cross-country skiing and relaxing walks. Small children like to be dragged on the toboggan.<\/p>\n

Trip to lake Weissensee<\/h2>\n

The Weissensee is located very close to the Hotel Glocknerhof and is definitely worth a trip. In addition to ice skating, many other winter sports can be enjoyed in winter. Furthermore, there is a skiing area with a natural toboggan run at the Weissensee. There is something for everyone. And after the winter excursion, relax in the wellness area and indoor pool in the hotel and let yourself be pampered in the restaurant.<\/p>\n
